As a Product Manager at Cypress.io, you will lead a direct team of engineers, designers, researchers, and data scientists. Collaboration is key as you work with various cross-functional partners to accelerate the business. You’ll partner with our performance marketing team to improve our marketing efficiency, and our SEO team to drive organic traffic.

Make an impact alongside our Sales and Operations teams to ensure a healthy balance of conversion wins and customer quality. Each improvement you make increases the number of developers converting to the paid subscription, or leading them to contact our strategic Sales team. You’ll manage a roadmap, and sprints, and drive your team towards results.

The Product Manager position offers the opportunity to run simultaneous experiments across various parts of our digital experience, actively reporting on your progress and sharing results with the broader organization. You’ll pass along the wins, own the misses, and most importantly, learn along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the product roadmap and build consensus on prioritization of the growth initiatives across our open-source App and premium Cloud.
  • Create clear growth goals and KPIs for the team.
  • Understand developer needs; identify the right problem worth solving.
  • Lead the ideation, research, design, development, and launch of developer-centric products.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health. Share your results and learnings along the way.
  • Lead large, cross-functional groups of people. Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Excitement for the developer tools space.
  • 4+ years of growth product management experience (developer experience not required but preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Live and breathe experimentation, data analysis, and ruthlessly prioritize for impact.
  • Demonstrate a track record of influencing teams towards a measured outcome you clearly describe.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proven bias for action and drive to get things done.

Talent Attributes - what we look for in all hires at Cypress

  • Collaboration: you work together towards a shared goal, not in service of individual needs.
  • Stage Appropriateness: you have experienced growth and scale and understand the impact it has on individual roles, decision making, prioritization and our vision.
  • Intrinsic Motivation: you are driven by an internal desire to achieve, succeed and contribute
  • Intellectual Curiosity & Agility: you have a perpetual need to learn new information, and with exposure to it you’re able to adopt and modify your thoughts, solutions and outcomes.

Although we list out what we generally look for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit, and are not currently listed. Research has shown this especially applies to women and other marginalized groups, who tend to apply if they check 100% of every box, versus men who apply if they hit roughly 60%. The point we’re getting at, it doesn’t hurt to take a chance and apply!

We are an inclusive employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
