POSITION SUMMARY

Harness is looking for a committed Director, Product Management to help drive and lead the definition, development and adoption of our Continuous Delivery module, and ensure end-to-end success


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to Harness' CD roadmap and direction, using market research and competitive analysis, helping us to come up with innovation and differentiated offerings that provide significant value to our customers and users
  • Drive innovation in CD Product for GitOps, Serverless, and Kubernetes and work with Engineering team to contribute to OpenSource initiatives
  • Engage with customers, develop insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated customer needsDefine product requirements based on customers needs, market, and technology trends
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, support, and field teams to drive successful product release and adoption
  • Collaborate with product marketing to support the creation of customer-driven messaging and content requirements
  • Collaborate with technical and sales enablement, to ensure successful go to market execution


ABOUT YOU

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product management in the SW delivery or DevOps space
  • Strong experience with building cloud services or SaaS technologies is a must
  • DevOps and CI/CD background is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and/or similar cloud infrastructure stacks
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven product decision-making mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. EE, CS); MBA or similar degree highly preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $166,000 - $226,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. The compensation package for this position may also include equity, and benefits.
